Late Spring "Blue Moon"

A powerful T-storm brought pea-size hail amidst heavy rain & lightning last evening; several storms swept around us; lightning struck a man in Bantam & hammered wolf rock just behind me, yet spared my young tomato plants trembling on the edge of promise. Within hours a dense white fog settled over everything obscuring the rare "Blue Moon" guiding the end of spring with illuminating patience. Jenny wrens sing through this dripping humidity while catbirds immitate frogs calling in nearby vernal pools beside fresh cornfields blushing with new greenery. Wild canaries have nested nearby - well-protected from occasional flashes of brilliant gold as they blurr toward their necessities.
Abundance is ours.
