Bring your selected poetry to read. Our celebration concludes with poetry readings and book signing by each individual, and by poet E. Barrie Kavasch.

E. Barrie Kavasch is an author, ethnobotanist, master herbalist, culinary historian, environmentalist, and botanical illustrator. She has authored (photographed and/or illustrated) more than 25 popular books and was given the prestigious G.B. Foster Award for Excellence in Herbal Literature in 2000 by the Herb Society of America. Her books include HANDS OF TIME: Select Poetry & Haiku in Five Seasons, and ANCESTRAL THREADS: Weaving Remembrance in Poetry & Family Folklore. Her works have been featured in The New York Times, Sierra, Native Peoples, Bon Appetit, Fine Cooking, Martha Stewart Living and other publications. Her work in spirituality, healing, Reiki, dream work, and shamanic training continues to lead her to receptive audiences across the country.
Barrie's fourth book of poetry, ShamanSong: Life ShapeShifting into Poetry, will be published in July 2007.
